Not all electrolysers need membranes, but ours do. Membranes are central to our devices, both a barrier and a carrier, separating the gases in the anode and the cathode, but letting ions flow freely, thus essential for the electrochemical reactions.
Our researcher from De Nora, in Italy, prepares the anode and the cathode of our electrolysers, while keeping scalability in mind. Discover all about her work in ANEMEL in our blogpost.

ANEMEL was highlighted within the EIC Community in an interview with our Project Coordinator Pau Farràs, from the University of Galway (Ireland), which recently appeared in the EIC “Coffee Break” blogpost series.
We are thrilled to announce a new and exciting series of lectures on green hydrogen. The event, hosted by our partner JSI in Slovenia, will take place on 3rd November and involve several invited experts including the group leaders from ANEMEL.
Following the success of our previous sessions, we’re excited to announce our upcoming webinar! Save the date: it will take place on 1st October at 12:00pm (noon) CEST, featuring a presentation by our researchers Eleonora Crenna, from HES-SO, and David Wilde, from Leitat.
