Discover who’s who in the ANEMEL team. Johan Loccufier works at Agfa, in Belgium. Within the ANEMEL project, he is in charge of making sure our membranes are scalable and ready for industrial application.
Ionomer: the “ion-highway” to boost AEM water electrolysers performance
Our new paper published in Energy & Fuels shows that, in electrolyser design, including an ionomer is a great bonus to increase the performance and that you must also focus on the interactions between layers. This is a study led by TU Berlin and De Nora.
